Local canine stars highlight the power of training, mobility support, and the human-animal bond

Tucson, AZ, October 17, 2025 – Three exceptional dogs from the Tucson community, Kate, Halfie, and Joey, dazzled the crowd at the University of Arizona’s “Dogs on the Runway” showcase this evening, earning cheers for their confidence, charm, and teamwork with their handlers.

“Kate, Halfie, and Joey were rock stars,” said the team’s spokesperson. “They showed how good training, thoughtful handling, and a calm environment can unlock a dog’s best self. The crowd felt it, and the dogs clearly did too.”
