A Loyal Companion Celebrates 11 Years of Helping Dogs Live More Mobile Lives with Community Open House

Tucson, AZ — January 2026 — A Loyal Companion (ALC), a leader in canine mobility education and support, is celebrating 11 years of service with a community Open House on Sunday, January 11, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at its Tucson facility.

The free event is open to the public and welcomes pet owners, veterinary and rehabilitation professionals, animal lovers, and community members interested in learning more about ALC’s mission and impact.

Founded to support dogs with mobility challenges and the people who care for them, A Loyal Companion has spent more than a decade educating, empowering, and advocating for improved quality of life through compassionate, research-informed mobility care.

“This milestone isn’t just about us,” said Kate Titus, founder of A Loyal Companion. “It’s about the dogs who changed us, the families who trusted us, and the community that continues to walk alongside us.”

Event Highlights Include:

• A look at ALC’s past, present, and future
• Hands-on activities creating toys and personalized wooden cutouts for adoptable dogs at Pima Animal Care Center
• Kathy’s Dog Cookie Buffet, a longtime community favorite
• A new Share Your Story Station, where attendees can record short testimonials about their mobility journey and the dogs they love
• A live Celebration of Life tribute at 12:15 PM, honoring dogs lost over the past year

Attendees who wish to include a pet in the Celebration of Life memorial video are invited to email a photo to info@aloyalcompanion.com by 4:00 PM on Friday, January 9.

The Open House reflects ALC’s ongoing commitment to education, connection, and community-centered care.
