Overview

Essential support for everyday stability.

The Eddie’s Wheels rear wheel carts sport an industry-leading design that works with the dog’s body rather than against it. Great for rehabilitation and recovery situations, the carts are designed to allow a natural range of motion vital to healing without compensatory issues. Each cart is custom-built to meet the needs of the individual dog and can be upgraded to accommodate further mobility loss, which is common in degenerative conditions.

Common Applications

Where custom rear wheel carts help.

Custom Rear Wheel Carts are used for a variety of neurological, spinal, joint, and limb conditions to help dogs keep moving.

There are several types of cart configurations designed to meet different mobility needs. Standard Rear Wheel Carts support dogs with strong front limbs but weak or paralyzed hind legs. Neutral-Balanced Carts are better for dogs with front limb or shoulder pain or weakness. Fully Counterbalanced Carts are ideal for dogs with significant forelimb disabilities, as the special weighting system removes up to 40% of the weight borne on the front legs. Variable Balance Carts offer adjustable support and are well-suited for dogs recovering from surgery or managing progressive conditions.
