What We Do

When the spine fails, the whole body feels it.

Back, neck, and spinal injuries or diseases present some of the most difficult challenges for both dogs and their pet parents. Some of the most common neurologic conditions we see are intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), degenerative myelopathy (DM), fibrocartilagenous embolism (FCE), spondylosis, stenosis, and valley fever. These conditions are often painful and limit mobility in ways that significantly affect your dog’s quality of life.

Our approach is rooted in your dog's Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and starts with understanding where you and your dog are struggling, whether it’s moving around the house, eating, elimination, loading in/out of a vehicle, or staying clean and dry. From there, we build a support plan that may include exercise, massage, and assistive equipment as appropriate for your dog. We work with you to implement changes that improve your dog’s quality of life — and yours.
